Description
Slide tyre dressing is the finishing detail to any car clean. Tyres are often forgotten and left looking a drab grey whilst the car is sat gleaming and shiny! The important part here is to make the tyre dressing last, this is best done by giving it a thorough scrub and clean. Slide chemically
binds to the surface and will dress them leaving either a gloss or satin finish depending on how it’s applied, you may find that when you wash the car the next time it’s not necessary to redo, having said that, there are some of us that can’t help ourselves…
The best way to use Slide is: Having made sure your tyre is free from dirt by scrubbing with GP22 and a stiff brush like your wheel nut brush or the shampoo in your bucket (make sure you don’t use the same bucket of water to shampoo them as your car though and, like your wheels, clean them first), make sure it’s dry and, using an applicator brush, paint onto the surface getting into the lines and words. For a glossy finish just leave it, if it’s a satin finish you’re after, wipe the access off with a clean cloth…

Another top product, it’s by far the easiest and least messy way to get that shine on your side walls when applied using Healey’s soft detailing brush. Gone are those days of tyre shine all over the wheels attracting brake dust the second you touch the pedal….
